I work for a financial company and I found it odd how noone at worked really discussed this issue today. I was too busy resolving complaints, but there was no chatter around me, either. Really weird. I noted it as, most people don't understand it all.

And AIG is looking dicey too. Looks like you guys were actually quite lucky to go first whilst the government was still of a mind to help out...
