we finally saw Wicked last night, thanks to a very generous Christmas gift from mom, and all i can say is wow. really, that's all i can say, but only because i'm so fucking tired i can hardly type.
knowing we'd be out till well past midnight, i took off today; sadly that was not to be. Dum-Dum's mother passed away yesterday and in a delirious moment of sympathy i told Cunty i'd come in rather than leave the department short. 12 hours later, at 2:30 am, when we finally got home (8 pm show + subway problems + dinner in Chelsea + a ferry ride), i was severely regretting my decision. now, i'm regretting it even more as i try and pry my eye lids open with toothpicks and coffee...

Hang in there tonight is coming. You did a good thing and this sacrifice is what people call character. You're a good person, hang in there.
I loved Wicked as well. I got to see it when it first opened; and then again last August. I would enjoy it again and again.
Did you read the book Wicked? If you're a reader you may find it really interesting but be wary, it's not a light read.
i did read it a couple of times (plus the sequel: Son of a Witch) and LOVED it. i was a little miffed at the changes between book and stage, but i guess it's to be expected. i was honestly just blown away by the staging, sets and costumes.
Keep on pryin', man. Keep at it. Be tough. Hang in there. You're young and hung. You can handle it!
