Please say hello to the most recent addition to my desk menagerie, Phyllis (right).
she's actually been here since before Valentine's day, after what happened to my last desk plant, Ursula (left), i wanted to keep her alive for 2 weeks before i showed her off.hopefully she'll continue to thrive and provide me with the smallest amount of the natural world at work.

yeah...i came in one day and Ursula had just dropped dead; it was awful. according to the florist who did our wedding (and who sold me Phyllis, while i was ordering stephen's Valentine's rosess), i over watered poor Ursula. Cause of death: Root Rot :^P
Oh dear, root rot. Don't they sell special shampoo for that these days, ha ha.
I'm trying to see more of the desk in the pictures but they give very little away - a persons desk says a lot about them you know....
