3 Months 27 Days 15 Hours

stephen's off today, 'cuz the dishwasher (see yesterday's post) is being delivered (somehow he found a place that will deliver in 24 hours) and while waiting, he's re-assessing our finances in relation to the bills we've wracked up for our impending nuptials.

it looks like everything is going according to his plan and we're gonna be(financially) dead-on-balls by the time the big day comes, with a little bit left to spend on the honeymoon. what a fucking relief that turned out to be.

in other wedding related news...

i found the most wonderful wedding cake topper, made by a woman in the UK. i was amazed when stephen said that he liked it too! i e-mailed her yesterday to see if she thinks she'd be able to have it ready by October 6th. let's all keep our fingers crossed...

i spoke with the travel agent, everything is set for the SF honeymoon. again, any suggestions of things to see/do/go to are welcome.

we found a limo company. pricey, but what-the-hell. i'm gonna feel like Dolly being carted around in a long white Limousine.

the favors really can wait till August.

now we need to plan out the specifics of the ceremony (blocking, timing, etc). already, i feel like Bob Fosse...

i'm now feeling considerably less panicked.

"i am so used to being tense about all this ... that... i don't even know what to do...darling, all our freakin' ducks and in one neat orderly row. *exhale*"~ Stephen (via text message)

San Fran: GO TO THE MODERN ART MUSEUM! Seriously. It's one of the sexiest art places on the west coast. That's if you even leave your hotel room...woooooooooooo!

you should ask your guest for the honeymoon...I've seen it done. Of course asking in a classy way. Instead of all the dishes and things that people give as wedding gifts you can have them "donate" some funds.
