this is the best story John has ever told (better than the time he cried his way out of a parking ticket. better than the time he talked to Sabrina from the L Word on the phone, better than the time he drove CeCe Penniston around in a golfcart). if i didn't know him, i'd think it was completely made up...but i do know him, so i know it's not. this kind of thing only happens to him, and i'm (truly) lucky enough to be the 1st person he calls when things like this happen.

wouldn't it be amazing if they actually hit it off and start some kind of Long Distance love affair, where Seattle Guy eventually moves to New York and they live happily ever after? that would be a great story for them to be able to tell their cats one day..."How I Met Your Father"
