On the Road to Pride Pt.1: All About Eavesdropping

Sunday, walking down 6th avenue, toward 54th street. a man wearing a sandwich board with alot of impossibly small writing around a picture of Adam & Eve, cuts steps in front of two adorably handsome Bears walking hand-in-hand.

Adorably Handsome Bear #1: i heard this year, in addition to the moment of silence, they're going to have a special exhibition during the parade...
Adorably Handsome Bear #2: oh?
AHB1: yeah...halfway through the parade they're going to light effigies of Jesus, the Pope and the President on fire!
AHB2: that's great! i hope it's near our float!
Sandwich Board Man: did you say they're going to light effigies of Jesus on fire?
AHB1: yes...but honestly, i was joking.
SBM: (looking terribly crestfallen) oh...that's a shame...i'd be all for that...the church needs to be taught a lesson...

apparently, the impossibly small writing was all about the church's antiquated teachings on creationism and outdated policies on homophobia.
