we never actually made it to SI Pride. after last year, it really seemed like it was gonna be pointless, so since the threat of a debilitating brain tumor is gone, i'm gonna opt for skin cancer...that's a joke stop looking so chagrined. i sat outside on the grass, in front of our house, and took in s'more sun. it was absolutely delightful, infinitely more satisfying than the SI "parade", and i'm now brown as a proverbial nut.
Jenn and Brian came by Saturday night for homemade pizza and beer, which was great. we also sat around the living room playing Cranium: Conga, which has to be one of the greatest board games ever. the next time you come over, bring a bottle of wine and i promise we'll have a great time. even Mr."I Hate All Board Games", Stephen, likes this one (read: he hates this one less than any of the other board games on the market). seriously though, it's alot of fun, especially with Jenn and Brian. it was great to have them over; i never quite realize how much i miss Jenn, till i spend a few hours with her and then we part company.
yesterday was another chill out day; mostly shopping and cooking. i really like weekends like this...

Seriously. That must be one of the most uplifting feelings to have...the relief of not finding a tumor...I'm really happy for you...really.
Is NYC Pride cancelled this year? It's all over the web that it is due to safety violations.
