Addiction: Compulsive physiological and psychological need for a habit-forming substance.
i come to you today after realizing that i have a physiological and psychological dependency on a drug.i'm addicted to Claritin-D.
don't laugh. i've been off my Claritin for three days (i've been way too busy go get to CVS) and my eyes are puffy and red, my nose is running, and my ears are clogged. i'm a mess. think:
whitney houston, about 2 years ago; all that's missing are the tremors and teeth grinding.
i blame the weather, of course. it's hot, balmy and windy so all the pollen and seeds and other tree/flower sex stuff is flying through the air. it's a botanincal gangbang/free for all here in NY and i'm the one with the "facial". to paraphrase Miss Coco Peru, in Trick, "Ever had pollen in your eye? it burns"!

OMG!! You might even be funnier than me! Hey... are you sure it's an addiction rather than a bonefide allergy? Go see an allergist for Goddess' sake and get your insurance to pay for the drugs. CVS indeed!
My husband would join your support group...C-D is like crack to him...he swears he can't survive without it...
