Erasure: a Light at the End of the World

flawless.

that's all i can say. i picked it up on Saturday, after the concert. once again they've captured the perfect balance between electro-pop music and soulful lyrics. andy bell's vocals are even stronger than they were 20 years ago. in fact, after seeing them play on Friday night, i can't tell you how much more i appreciate their music.

in fact, have. it's truly amazing how consistently awesome their music is and how much they've grown while maintining the same distinct sound.

predictably, since yesterday, i've had my mp3 player on shuffle playing all the Erasure tracks and remixes i've collected over the last few years. seeing them live even made me appreciate their last CD, Union Street, evn more. i can't even tell you how much i'm loving them right now.

I got this CD the day it came out. I AM SUNDAY GIRL, I AM SUNDAY GIRL! Shall I sing it at your wedding?
